This posting is for two full-time, overtime-eligible positions in Construction Services on the Olympia campus of The Evergreen State College. |
Position Purpose |
Perform journey level duties in the construction, maintenance, inspection, installation, and repair of campus facilities. These positions perform a variety of work in trades, such as painting, carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, concrete, and metal fabrication, and equipment maintenance. |
Nature and Scope |
These positions reports to the Construction Maintenance Manager and are responsible for performing journey level work on campus facilities and require the ability to work independently, overhead, in tight quarters, and from ladders and man lifts, as well as perform heavy lifting, with manual dexterity and complete mobility. Depending on the assigned project, the positions work independently, collaboratively as a team member, and as a team leader. |
Essential Functions |
• Perform journey level maintenance and repair of campus facilities in trades in one or more of the following trades: • Lead and perform work associated with assigned small scale remodel projects. |
